Visión Afro 2025 is an inter-institutional initiative between the Ford Foundation, Dejusticia, the Afro-Latin American Research Institute at Harvard University (ALARI), and the Center for Afro-Diasporic Studies Ceaficesi. It seeks to create spaces for dialogue and reflection on issues of inequality, justice, development, and recognition in Afro-descendant communities, with a special emphasis on the work and contributions of Black women in Colombia.
These spaces for dialogue were summarized in a series of podcasts, and I had the honor of being invited to illustrate some episodes, contributing visual art to the construction of these narratives that highlight the struggles, knowledge, and contributions of Afro-descendant communities in Latin America.
