República is a hostel located in the historic center of the city of Santa Marta, just a few steps from the bay and with a privileged view of the iconic Morro that adorns the Samarian maritime horizon. This mural was created as a tribute to the essence of Santa Marta: the Sierra Nevada, its imposing sacred mountains, and the immensity of rivers that descend from above to merge with the sea.
Through organic shapes, vibrant colors, and natural elements, the work celebrates the geographical, spiritual, and cultural richness of this Caribbean region. It is an invitation to contemplate the connection between the mountains and the sea, between the ancestral and the everyday.
