I am Yeraldina Márquez, an Afro-Colombian visual artist and full-time traveler. For more than eight years, I have been developing Ellayeraldina, an illustration project that uses drawing, color, and textures to create warm and vibrant environments that explore visual narratives in search of making diverse experiences visible, celebrating everyday life, and generating connections from an emotional, cultural, and personal perspective.

My work is deeply influenced by my Afro-Colombian roots, the strength of the women who inspire me, the landscapes I travel through, and the communities that have welcomed me along the way.

I have collaborated with institutions such as the Banco de la República, the Ministry of Justice, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), and international chains such as Viajero Hostels. In addition, my socially-focused work has been exhibited in countries such as Mexico and Argentina.
